Problems with CVSM (a cause of browser incompatibility?)

Hello,

I have some problems with the Visual Switch Manager

(CVSM) on a WS-C2916M-XL Catalyst Switch. Since its

old Hardware (and dont support IOS 12.x afaik) i only

have the idea that i run in Java/Browser trouble. The

Switch run with the latest available IOS for this old

"4 MB" Switch:

Version 11.2(8.11)SA6, MAINTENANCE INTERIM SOFTWARE

Maybe its simple incompatibility to the current

browsers? I tested the CVSM from a Windows XP (IE)

and a Suse Linux Client with (Firefox,Mozilla,Opera

and Konqueror. I also tryed new and old Java versions.

Sometimes the on the "Visual Switch Manager Home"

Site the applet dont load. Sometimes it load and

the navigation on top wont work correctly.

Only With Opera the applet on the "Visual Switch

Manager Home" start/default Page and the navigation

works fine.

The "Switch Network View" never works. The applet

simple gangs or show "applet crashed" as text there

in the middle of the gray field.

I tryed a lot for troubleshoot but i am out of

ideas. Can anybody here help me maybe?

It shows a "System Time Management" on the webinterface.

In my webinterface (CVSM) i dont have this area under the "System"

Navigation. There are only System Configuration, IP Management

SNMP Configuration and ARP Table available for me. Any idea why?
