--Problems with Resetting 675 in ROMMON--
I suspect the router has been hacked and passwords that did work no logger do. I need to reset the settings on a 675 but can not get into ROMMON. Here is what happens:
1)The boot load is displayed in unreadable asci text.
2)At a console connection I if "ctl + C" is pressed to enter rommon, the connection will hang.
3)If allowed to boot; all alpha text is asci and numeric is readable.
Anyone know of a way to reset the hardware other then rommon?
Thank for any help!!!

You need to hit Control+C right after "hello" is displayed after reboot on console. Here is the step by step instructions for that.

You can re-download the new cbos into 675. Now if it dosen't work at all, you need to replace it with the spare one.

Thank you for your time. Please see point 2 in the original question.

In that case you just need to replace it with the spare.
