Protocol specific timeouts

I am needing to find out the accepted, associated default timeouts for HTTP, FTP, HTTPS, SSH and DNS. I am unable to find any information regarding this. These times are to be used for testing and documented for a product release.

Re: Protocol specific timeouts

I believe that these are user configurable.

Let's take Apache Web server for example.

The httpd.conf will contain a line:

# Timeout: The number of seconds before receives and sends time out.

#

Timeout 7200
