We are in the process of creating a Linux based proxy (Squid)on one our servers. Being somewhat of the lazy type (not really) is there a setting we could use at our router (see below) to force all http requests to be relayed to this server.
Here is a show version of the router -- sorry not the cisco type.

You could do policy routing, but I wouldn't recommend it on a 2600. Why don't you configure your client browsers (automate via DNS and/or DHCP). IE 5 and above try by default to discover a proxy server, even without MS ISA or Proxy its easy (WPAD.DAT).
