Public and Private buffers

What are public and private buffers. Are they located in DRAM. Where is SRAM used. Any document please.

Buffers pools are classified as either Public or Private. Public pools are available for all users to allocate buffers from. Private pools are primarily used by interface drivers. Check out the following link for more information :
