PVLAN across multiple switches

Can PVLAN's work across a trunk/link between 2 switches ? ie, 2948G#1 <---------> 2948G#2. (Or any other switch that supports PVLAN's, like Cat4000, etc). The reason I ask is my company has 2 racks that have identical equipment in each. Instead of 1 Cat4000 in the DMZ doing PVLAN's, they want (2) 2948G switches doing PVLAN's with a link connecting the 2 switches.

Re: PVLAN across multiple switches

Pvlan can work across a trunk. Just like a normal vlan. But if you do promiscuous port in a trunk port . You should do it only in Catalyst 6500 or Catalyst 4000. I do it in catalyst 6509 port 15/1 and 16/1 successfully.
