I currnetly have a 4006 configured with 6 vlans vlan1-4-5-6-7-10 each in its on subnet. I have a Novell server farm that lies in vlan 10. I have configured the 4006 for dhcp, multicast support for the 5 vlans (w/ip helper statement). This is working flawlessly. I now want to use Preboot Execution Environment (PXE) for my workstations. I have entered an additional ip helper statement which points to my PXE server (dhcp proxy). I am recieving the dhcp address but fail to recieve an address for the pxe. This works fine on the local vlan10 however fails on my other vlans. Does anyone have any experience with this issue?

what do you mean " I am recieving the dhcp address but fail to recieve an address for the pxe".
the pxe is not receiving DHCP, correct?

My client boots, it obtains an IP address from a DHCP server, but it then fails discovers the Proxy DHCP server that provides the client with a list of Boot Servers.
