QoS on a 2600 Internet Gateway

Hello, I am interested in implementing QoS on a 2600 series Internet gateway router. What I am after is to prioritize traffic destined to a select range of hosts behind the router and limit bandwidth that is leaving the gateway (users leeching files off the net etc.). At this time there is no VoIP requirement. Basically, we want critical applications that are serviced via the Internet to have priority over everything else. This is exactly what QoS is designed to do? Is there any additional IOS cost involved? How difficult is it to implement? The site is relatively small (serviced by a t1) and the traffic patterns are already identified. If anyone can recommend a plan of action I would really appreciate it.

If you don't have Frame-Relay or ATM connection, you need general CBWFQ/LLQ which prioritize the certain traffic. You may find the useful info and config sample at the following URL:
