My company has 5 offices, each of them was assigned to a appropriate VLAN on a Catalyst 6509 (MSFC2+PFC2, IOS 12.1). All members of those VLANs must be NATed through a 515 PIX located on another VLAN before go outside to the Internet.
My questions are :
1) Can I limit the Internet access rate of each member VLANs by QoS policy ?
2) Because the rate of my Internet leased-line is 128 kbps only (it maybe upgraded in future)!, so what can I do to donate fixed Internet access rates for some particular VLANs ? (for example 64 kbps for VLAN A, 32kbps for each of the other VLANs). My boss asked me how can do so ... and I'm finding a better question, please help me ?
