I have read many documents on CCO regarding QoS on various platforms but I would like a definative guide/recommendation for an AVVID network - Cisco CallManagers/IP Telephony/VoIP, Video and Data. AutoQoS seems to set various things up but it just doesn't seem to give enough; i.e. Data just seems to get DSCP-0 and thats it. Additionally I would like some recommendations as to settings between the 2 different Catalysts (3550 & 6500). All the Cat6K modules we are using are 1p2q2t modules, whereas the 3550's have 4-queues, where one can be configured as a priority queue and the other 3 as WRR.
It seems all the information is there but its not actually giving me any advice??? Any help would be appreciated.
This is actually a pretty cool feature, i didn't even know it existed until I was looking for a solution to advertise a subnet (prefix in BGP talk), only if a certain condition existed. This is exactly what conditional advertisements does
