QoS requirements on routers

we are planning to implement QoS on our router network across the country.

I have a few general questions regarding the hardware/software requirements for implementing QoS.

I have checked through the IOS update planner, but QoS doesn't really appear as a feature.

Basically, the routers are centered around Cisco 1600 series for the branch offices, a single 2500 and a 2600 in head office.

What I need to find out are the basic DRAM requirements to start using QoS as well as the IOS minimum version that supports QoS and any other specific details that might have been overlooked.

These routers are all setup on a frame relay network.

If anyone knows where I might be able to find this information on the web, or knows the information off hand, then I would appreciate any assistance you can provide.

Not applicable

Qos is not a specific feature on IOS. Cisco IOS include different tools for QoS and each one of them belong to a specific category according to its application.
