Question about IDS Network Module for 2600¡A3600¡A3700

Hi All,

Cisco now has IDS Network Module for 2600¡A3600¡A3700. Does the module has the full function of IDS? And is there any links about the configuration? And how to update the signature? Thank You!

Best Regards

Re: Question about IDS Network Module for 2600¡A3600¡A3700

The IDS module has all functionality of other IDS modules / Sensor boxes. The only diff is the rates(bandwidths) at which this module can operate on various routers. These can run upto 45 mbps, on the routers, starting with upto 10 Mbps on the 2600 routers. If you take a look at the 6000 series IDS blades, they can run upto 600 mbps.
