question on IP statistics

I have two Cisco 1601 routers (eth0 10Mpbs/half only) connected as follows

LAN (10/100 Mbps) 10.0.1.0/26 --->3com switch (10/100 MBPS)--->Router1601-A-->csu/dsu--leased line--csu/dsu<--Router1601-B<---NetGear Switch (10/100 Mbps)<--- LAN (10/100 Mbps) 10.0.2.0/28

For both routers : eth0 - ARPA. se0 - HDLC.

both of them has increasing collisions & deffered counts on eth. No late collisions. No excessive collisions. No prob at the serial side - counters are clean. i am getting this on "sh ip traff"

what does the ff indicate / mean :

1. bad hops count

2. not a gateway count

3. encapsulation failed count

4. no route count

they're incrementing..

RouterA#sh ip tra

Re: question on IP statistics

first,can you tell me what do you mean by "ff" in sentence:what does the ff indicate / mean :

I can give you two suggestions

1,manualy set the speed of switch connected directly to the router to 10M,duplex to half

2,Make sure every PCs in the LAN have the right gateway address

3,Check the statistics on the 3com switch NetGear Switch to get more information

hope it help
