"dhcpd auto_config" equivalent on a router?

I'm trying to pass the default router and DNS on a dynamically configured external interface to the inside of my network via DHCP. On a PIX you would use the "dhcpd auto_config" command to pass through this information from the outside to the inside. How can this be done on a router such as a 2800?

I don't think IP Helper is the solution because if I understand it correctly it will will allow public broadcasts to pass through to the LAN. Correct me if I'm wrong though.

Hi,

I believe it may be possible by using the 'import all' command under the 'ip dhcp pool' configuration.

The following link describes this feature:

http://www.cisco.com/warp/public/105/dhcp_ser.html

Hope that helps - pls rate the post if it does.
