I would like to route 2 vlans across 2 2950 switches using a 1601 as a router on a stick. First off, is it possible to use a 1601 for this? If so, are there any config examples out there? This is my first try at routing vlans, so bear with me. On Switch1 I have fa0/1 set up as switchport mode trunk, allowing all vlans. That port is attached to a 1601 router. Fa0/2, fa 0/3, and fa0/4 are set up in vlan2, the other ports are in vlan 1. I want a pc attached to one of the ports in vlan 2 to talk to a pc hanging off Switch 2, which has all ports in vlan 1. I am probably missing a bunch of steps here, so any help in this would be helpful.

I'd say no. You need a 100mb ethernet. the 01 is only 10.
Doesn't mean you can't try.

The 1600 platform does not support trunking
