RAM, DRAM, NVRAM - confusion

So when someone says "RAM" for Cisco Routers/Switches, does it mean DRAM (running-config) or NVRAM (startup-config)?

I have assumed its DRAM.

I agree with you. It is for running-config.

Hi,

So when we apply a command like

#copy startup-config running-config for save

Now the data will save on both DRAM, NV-RAM.

Naidu.
