RARP utility

Does anyone have a utility for Reverse ARP on Linux or Win2k? When I do a "sh mac" on my switch, I can match a MAC to a switch port. If the MAC is not tied to an IP in the ARP cache, I cannot find out the IP easily.

Thanks,

RJ

Re: RARP utility

Hi,

I am not sure if there is an RARP utility available for free download. However I am aware that the latest package of network utilities (net-0.32d) for Kernel Options in 1.1.14 and Higher contains a small utility named rarp that allows you to add systems to the RARP cache.
