Re: CISCO 2611 " LOST IOS/ Router Recovery"

All,

Thanks in advance! I have an issue with one of my BDR routers and the cisco 2611 has lost its image and will not boot and I am unabel to access the router via console. When I connect via console cable I get nothing but "*******^%%$$#$%^" jibberish output from the router. Since I will not be able to access the router via console is there a recovery doc that I can try to restore the router?

Have you tried changing your terminal emulator to different speeds, sounds like the router is set as something other than 9600,8,n,1.

Thanks for the heads up! A minute after I wrote this I changed the speed setting under TTERM and that fixed it. lol. That last Engr made this change possibly be accident.

Thanks again!
