Disable or Reenable Peer Neighbor Routes

The Cisco IOS software automatically creates neighbor routes by default; that is, it automatically sets up a route to the peer address on a point-to-point interface when the PPP IPCP negotiation is completed.

To disable this default behavior or to reenable it once it has been disabled, use the following commands in interface configuration mode:

Command Purpose

no peer neighbor-route

Disable creation of neighbor routes.

peer neighbor-route

Reenable creation of neighbor routes.

is that what you are after ?

this is not what i was loking for, they are just static routes !!

Hi Carl

can you be more clear & throw some more light with the config info which you are having over there ?
