Received UnderSized packets counter keep incrementing
Anyone out there know what would cause a "rxUndersizedPacketCount" counter on a Catalyst 2948G switch keeps incrementing? I'm seeing this counter from the switch itself. According to documentation, this is a representation of the errors generated by the NIC attached to the switch port. This counter represents packets that are smaller than the legal Ethernet size of 64 bytes. I just don't know what are the sort of things that I should look out for on the workstation to troubleshoot the problem. Thanks in advance.
This is actually a pretty cool feature, i didn't even know it existed until I was looking for a solution to advertise a subnet (prefix in BGP talk), only if a certain condition existed. This is exactly what conditional advertisements does
