If I had to replace one blade in a Catalyst 650x, would I have to reconfigure the switch? Or is the configuration stored in the supervisor, in which case the new blade would "learn" its configuration on the fly?

You are right - you do not need to reconfigure the switch provided you replace the blade with exactly the same blade hardware.
