recover image

All,

I've accidently erase the flash and now everytime the router reboot. It giving me a promt of (rommon 3 >).

I've done alots of research but could't find anything.

This is what I've try..also the TFTP server is already running. I am stuck now..Please help me. Thankssss

well, your router could not find the file (soft)

- first, check that the name of the file is exact (the BIN word, try it bin, not capital letter)

-second, the tftp server is configurable, you must tell your tftp server what folder to use to find the file (soft)

Thanks for the help but I 've try that and still doesn't work.

in the software advisor when i put : c2600-ix-mz.122-2.BIN

it returned : The image name you have searched for is either an invalid image name or the image is not supported by Software Advisor. Please check the image name or the list of supported Cisco IOS releases in the Help file.

so there is a mistake in the name of the soft

check the name or try an other one

All,

I found out that if do it through xmodem is more easy than through ethernet. By change the baud rate to 115200 and send the image from there. It working again now. Thanks for all the help...
