Redirection of command output to a syslog server

We have a cat 6509 as our a core. In a telnet session I ran the command "show tech mod 2"and got a huge report. I am looking to do some debugging. However I am unable to capture all of this information with my screen output that telnet allows me. Beefing up the buffer doesn't allow for any extra scroll ups that I had regularly. As I need to read the entire output of the command, I plan to redirect the output of the command to a syslog server on our network. Is this possible and what would be the comands / and or procedure to redirect such an output that would enable me to capture this in a file for viewing. I use a win2k laptop. Also as a alternative, how would you do this if telenting from a unix c-shell?

You can point to a syslog server to log the messages. http://www.kiwisyslog.com/ is a free ware for windows that you can try.
