redistributing in rip

can anyone tell me how i can redistribute my static routes into rip, do i just do the same as eigrp etc, redistribute static ?

Correct. Don't forget to specify a metric keyword on the "redistribute static" statement or a "default-metric" statement. Otherwise, it will not work.
