Redistribution between two ospf processes

Is Redistribution between two ospf processes automatic or it has to be enabled explicitly with redistribution ospf "process id" commands.

It has to be explicitely enabled through redistribution, just as if one were an ospf process, and the other some other routing protocol. Only eigrp and igrp, running in the same AS, will auto redistribute.
