Redundancy

Hi,

Anybody know about N+1 Redundancy?

As per my knowldge N+1 redundancy means there is backup of additionl 1 device for single group.

Means Suppose I have total 4 routers of which I am using 3 in network and one kept as standby. then I can say for routers I have 3+1 redundancy. So if any one router from 3 is failed then I can replace that with spare one.
