Hello,
I have the need to tunnel multicast traffic between two sites. Each site has 2 cat6506's that are running native IOS, currently 12.1(19)E1.
Currently we only have a single 6506 at each site and have a GRE tunnel built between the two.
As we add additional switches to improve our redundancy I am considering building a full mesh of 4 tunnels between the two sites for redundancy.
Are there other topologies or technologies that might be easier to administer than a full 4 gre tunnel mesh?
Thanks!

Didn't exactly understand from your post why you had to Tunnel the traffic. Are the sites not directly connected? Are the 2 65xx inside the site not directly connected to each other?
Cisco offers Mulitpoint GRE. You'd have 1 Tunnel with 4 endpoints. You will need to check the feature navigator to locate the correct IOS.

The sites have a internet WAN connections in between. Those networks do not currently support native multicast.
Do you know if mgre will support mulitcast traffic?
Thanks,
Andrew
