Relation beetween memory consumption and switch load

Is there any cisco document, that states what is the expected memory consumption, with a determined traffic load??

Some kind of table??

I am guessing that you mean layer 2 switches,

Layer 2 switches do not need large ammounts of memory because the only table's they need to memorize are the mac tables. The rest of the memory is used for interface buffering and all regular processes but the memory usage should not rise significantly under load.
