Remote access to MPLS VPN over Cable!

Now, I have a problem about implement MPLS

VPN over uBR 7246. First I create a Vpn at uBR7246, then I have two hosts belong to the vpn. My problem is my host have get the ip address from the CNR server. But can not "ping" it's gateway. At the hosts, I use the "ARP -a" DOS command see the arp table, find that I haven't got the MAC address of the gateway. If I manually add the MAC in the arp table, then the host can "ping" the destination. Why????? Can u tell me? Thanks!

Re: Remote access to MPLS VPN over Cable!

From the description of your problem, it looks like your hosts are not getting the ARP replies from the gateway. You can use the 'debug arp' command on the gateway to check whether the gateway is receiving the ARP requests and then responding to the request. If the hosts and gateway are connected using a switch, check how the switch handles the frames by looking at the CAM table entries.
