remotely monitoring a switch using NAM

We're in the process of configuring NAM 2.1 that is physically located in a Cat-6506 switch. Is there a way to monitor other switches (Cat-6506's, Cat-2980's, or Cat-2950's)using this NAM? - I could not find that info in the NAM doc.

Thanks.

You can look at RSPAN for this, but involves switch CLI commands. It cannot be fully configured from the NAM GUI. Details can be seen in the docs, but in general:

1) On the remote (source) switch, the RSPAN vlan must be configured, and a set of ports (or vlans) need to be RSPANed to that destination VLAN.

2) On the local (destination) switch with the NAM in it, the RSPAN VLAN must be configured.

3) Then on the local switch, the RSPAN vlan needs to be RSPANed to the NAM's data port (slot/1 for 6380-NAM).

Step 3 above can be done from the NAM GUI with NAM v3.1(1a) but steps 1 and 2 must be done from the SUP CLI.
