Hello all,

I have a cluster of 6 3500 switches.

Suppose I want to remove the cluster will that effect my network.

Plan is keep the connectivity as it is, assign ip address to each switch.

regards,

shashank

The IP addressing and clustering are only for ease of management. It should not affect normal switch operation.

I agree with Shanky.

But you can even assign an IP address to each switch and leave them in cluster.

The positive effect is that you can see all switches on one browser screen while connecting via Cluster Manager (IMHO, this is the only reason why to use Cisco clusters at all).

Regards,

Milan
