Removing users from 7206

We recently migrated DSL customers to a new router. During the migration process there was a mix up with dhcp pools and some users were given incorrect, but functioning, IP addresses. I tried to remove these users by doing a shut no shut on their atm subinterfaces but it had no affect. The users show up on the router and the addresses show in use. Is there any way I can remove these users so they wil reconnect and receive new addresses?

Thanks

What kind of customer's you have..?? For PPPoA and PPPoE customers, You need to issue "sh users" and find the vi interface for that user and issue

clear interface

to disconnect that user.

PPPoA. I tried what you suggested:

clear interface virtual-access ##

but this did not remove the user.
