Resource Manager access restriction by application
In Resource Manager 3.1 Is it possible to restrict user access per application? What I would like to do is give a user access to run the Configurator Editor, make changes and upload the new configuration, but nothing else.
We are trying to provide our security officer with a way to be able to filter in/out ip addresses through access-lists. Is there any other way to do this??????
Re: Resource Manager access restriction by application
The quick answer to your question is, No. If you login to CW2000 and then goto Server Configuration->Setup->Security->Permissions Report, you'll see a detailed matrix of what each user role within CW2K can/cannot do. CSCdu22307 is already open as an enhancement request for this and may get implemented in the future versions.
