Restricting inbound and outbound traffic

I wonder if it is possible to configura a serial port on 3640 router that inbound traffic will use 75% of bandwitdh and outbound will use 25% of band width.

If so is it possible to send me a sample configuration.

What are you trying to accomplish? A serial port is full-duplex, meaning that if the line speed is x, then you have x bandwidth available for transmit and x bandwidth available for receive. The bandwidth you give to one does not take away bandwidth from the other.

No its not possible to do it as told above. Incase you have a 2 Mb link, you get 2 Mb input and 2 Mb output rate.

You can restrict input or output traffic rate independently by configuring CAR.Check out this doc:
