Restricting SNMP Access to Specific Objects

Greetings,

Is it possible to restrict SNMP access to a specific object/tree based on an ACL? (e.g. allow access to stats on a specific interface from a specific set of hosts, using a specific community string).

Thank you.

SNMP views can be used to restrict this. You can look at: http://www.cisco.com/warp/public/477/SNMP/ipsnmphighcpu.shtml which have a few examples on this.
