Can any one tell me how to get in to modem on AS5350 and configure Inactivity timer on it. I have a Nextport DMM.

You can do "show line" to see the available lines. Reverse telnet to an available line using any interface on the router that is in the "up/up" state.
Never heard of setting inactivity timeout on the modem, unless it can be done with some AT commands.
There are two timeouts that you can set, one is the "PPP" timeout and the other is "exec" timeout.
PPP: configured on the interface
dialer-timeout
Exec timeout: Configured on line
exec-timeout
Hope this help you.

I will re phrase my question. If there is no activity in the connection for a specified ammount of time, I wanted to disconnect the line. How can I acheive this as I have number of international dial out locations.
Can I get in to the modem module and give "AT" commands? If so how ?
TIA,
Ravi

You can reverse telnet to the modem of Nextport. You may find the TTY no. by using "show caller" command if a user connecting to the AS5350.
