RIP and OSPF

Hello guys

i have two doubts ,

OSPF,

i have 5 loop back interfaces configured on my router, 200.x.y.z range

i want to advertise this routes

redistribute connected subnets----this command is not working.

on my local router, when i enter SH ip ospf database, this links are not there in my database.

any idea, what can be the problem,

except OSPF, any other routing protocol shows this route in its database..but OSPF is not able to show.

My second doubt is on RIP

i read on cisco site..

while receiving updates, router checks the major net, if it finds the same major network learned from some other interface, then it will drop the update..

if this is the case then how will Load balancing work...

I hope i am clear in explaining my doubts,

Thanks a lot for helping me

Cheers

Annu,

Ospf : Once you place one of your connected interfaces into an area i.e use a network statement under ospf the problem should go away.
