RIP Interface on OSPF router

I have run into the misfortune of needing to participate in RIP v1 routing on a single interface off of a 4500 switch. The switch/network currently is running OSPF as the routing protocol and all I really neeed is a single interface to send and receive RIP routing updates. After I have turned RIP on the switch, what is the best way to assure only that one interface is sending and/or receiving updates?

Thanks for any help.

Todd

you can passive out all the interfaces

Yes, I am aware of that. What I really want to avoid is having to passive 60-some interfaces just for one to work. I was hoping there would be a way to apply to just one interface.

try to use

router rip

passive-interface default

no passive-interface int serial something
