I have 2 1601, 3 2651 and 1 3640 routers all running RIP2 on a Private network. The RIP2 does not seem to work and there are not more than 15 hops. I want to migrate to running OSPF but I would like to get RIP2 working first. We are still using some static routes. Any help would be appreciated.
More information please.... :-) What do you mean by "not working?" Can you look at each of the router's routing tables, and figure out what seems to be missing? Is some traffic not getting routed through the network, or do you mean that some routers don't have any routes, or all the routes, or?
This is actually a pretty cool feature, i didn't even know it existed until I was looking for a solution to advertise a subnet (prefix in BGP talk), only if a certain condition existed. This is exactly what conditional advertisements does
