RME 3.3 and modular devices

Is it possible to configure modules (e.g. OC12 modules) on devices through config editor or NetConfig(i.e. modules that require the "session

command"). I have tried various methods with no joy.

Also can you use SWIM to upgrade images on modules as well as the chassis, if so how? I cannot find any pertinent documentation on CCO to indicate this type of management of device modules.

If the commands are interactive which require additional user input like Y/N, then it may not be possible. As for the SWIM, take a look at the Supported device list for RME which as a list of devices that can be upgraded using SWIM.
