RME config compare error

Hello, I've found following bug in RME 3.4:

After adding one line to config of my Cat2900XL running IOS 12.0(5)WC5a I updated the configuration archive and tried to compare with the config previous version.

But RME didn't notice the config change!!

When I display the latest config via Device Configuration Viewer, I see the new line.

But when trying Compare with Prev. Version the Configuration Compare Report Diffs Only screen doesn't show it.

Even the All screen doesn't show it!!

No difference using Processed or Raw showing.

The config change was:

line vty o 15

exec-timeout 30 0

This is not an important config change but the error makes the config compare process unreliable to me.

Has anybody noticed anything similar?

have you set your prefs to store enough copies and for long enough

General Setup..

archive purging policy

if it`s only setup with one copy or it`s setup for 7 days ..you may only have one copy in the achive ...which is your current one...

it`s a long shot ....but you never know

Hi,

this is not the problem - I'm keeping 10 config copies up to 180 days.

To clarify the problem:

I see the correct config via RME -> Configuration Management -> Compare configurations -> 2 versions of same device -> select device -> click on View for the latest config - the new line is there

BUT

when I clik on Compare with Prev version button

I see both config version paralelly, I can see other differences, but the line

exec-timeout 30 0

disappears from the latest config column!!!
