Route map is not getting applied

I have a Cisco 3550 24 EMI switch. I have routing enabled and have the following route map applied:

access-list 101 permit ip x.x.x.x 0.0.15.255 any

access-list 101 permit ip y.y.y.y 0.0.0.255 any

route-map CMTS-Outbound permit 30

description *** Cmts Cumstomer out to internet ***

match ip address 101

set ip next-hop 1.1.1.1

If I add a subnet to the route map like so:

access-list 101 permit ip z.z.z.z 0.0.0.255 any

The route map does not get applied for the new network until I reboot the switch. Is there a command that I can run to "refresh" the route map, instead of rebooting the switch each time a new subnet is added?

Thank You

Re: Route map is not getting applied

Hi,

That is a bit weird... new ACL lines should get applied immediately..you have obviously hit a bug.

The next time you do this, could you try completely removing the ACL (using 'no access-list...') and then re-adding all the lines ? That may refresh the list without having to reboot the switch.

Hope that helps - pls rate posts that help.
