Routed 10 GE Ports on Supervisor Engine V-10GE

Hi,

Is it possible to use both the 10GE ports on both Active and Standby Supervisor Engine V-10GE simultaneously as Routed L3 ports on a 4507R.

Also let know on which IOS version this is possible.

Thanks

Deepinder

Re: Routed 10 GE Ports on Supervisor Engine V-10GE

A: A maximum of 2 10 Gigabit Ethernet ports or four Gigabit Ethernet ports can be active on the

Supervisor at one time. This is the case with one or two supervisor engines in a single chassis.

This means you can only use a total of 2 10 GE uplink ports. You can use both 10GE on either sup but you CANNOT use both 10GE on both sup at he same time, that will mean you want all four 10GE.
