Router 1760 and WIC-1T

I have two routers 1760 serie with a WAN card WIC-1T inserted in slot 0.

Unfortunetly, I cannot use the command "controller E1 0/0" in order to configure the source of the clock.

Nor can I use the command "sh controller E1".

The command "show diag" tells me that the card WIC-1T has been recognized by the router.

Where is the problem ? Is there a special image that I should use ?

My IOS image file is : c1700-sy-mz.122-11.T8.bin

If you intend to use a WIC-1T as controller for a 2Mb G703 link, you probably have the wrong module. The WIC-1T can only be used to connect to a conventional leased line. It will show in the config as int serial ..

To connect a structured or unstructured G703 you will need something like the VWIC-1MFT-G703. Please have a look at the following link to the product specs for these modules:
