router config goes away on 6513

any idea why our configuration on the router portion of our 6513 disappears after a few minutes. We created some interfaces, did a "no shut" everything worked then after a few minutes all the changes are gone.

looks like a bug to me.

What software version are you running ?

Can you try the latest one and if the problem is still there, open a case to report the problem.

Also, is it on just one device or you have the same problem on different 6513 ?

I beleive you need to also save by Router>copy running-config startup-config, perhaps?

Make sure you save the config and also when you see look up that the config is gone, make sure that you look at the uptime. What is your configuration register ?

There is no such known bug.

try to find the configuration register value, "sh ver", it should be 0x2102. so try this one i think some body has changed.

The config register will only afect the router during the reboot. See if your module is resetting. If your uptime is "normal" and the config register is 0x2102, open a case in TAC.
