router reboots the first time u access thru console or telnet

i have a 2651..recently. we added an isdn wic..since then, i observe that the router is automatically rebooting when u first access the router and invoking ur password...but after rebooting and inputing ur password the second time around, evrything will be okay (no more automatic rebooting will happen).

Once it starts working fine again,does it reboot on its own if you access it again through console?

We need to see why it reboot on its own. It may have crashed so you need to capture "sh stack" when it come back up. Plug that information at following tool and select "show stack"

Hi,

I guess there may be inadequate memory, are you sure the router you use complied with IOS requirements. You can also try to change "iomem" size.
