Router User Interface Modes

Thank you everyone for your help with my last problem. I have just two more questions I am having problems with. As you all know I am a student and have a crappy teacher so any help is greatly appreciated.

I need to describe the general functions of both the config interface and the enable mode. Just a brief statement is all I need.

Sincerly,

Re: Router User Interface Modes

enable mode is the privelege mode of the router where genrally you can show commands outputs that not supported from user modes - To configure the router, you have to get into the enable mode first

Config interface is the interface to do global configuration which will apply to all the router like enabling ipx routing. etc..

Here is the very good URL
