Routing on Cisco 6509

Hi,

I have got 6509, in that i hav created vlan 3,4,5,6 etc....,& i am planning to create vlan 2. now i wanted to route the packets only from vlan 2 to vlan 3, rest of the vlan's should not communicate with vlan 2, but they can communicate vlan 3,4,5,6 each other.so how do i proceed?

currently the configuration in L3 card is...

-----------------------------------------------

vlan 2

ip address 192.168.1.1 255.255.255.0

vlan 3

ip address 10.3.1.1 255.255.255.0

vlan 4

ip address 10.4.1.1 255.255.255.0

vlan 5

ip address 10.5.1.1 255.255.255.0

vlan 6

ip address 10.6.1.1 255.255.255.0

router eigrp 4444

network 10.0.0.0

-----------------------------------------------

with this setup i can able to route the packets between vlan 3,4,5,6.

thanks in advance.

Re: Routing on Cisco 6509

you should create an (VLAN) access-list that permits vlan3 to communicate with vlan2. Apply this access-list to the SVI of vlan 2.

Re: Routing on Cisco 6509

You could use access lists to not permit the traffic... off the top of my head...
