Routing, OSPF, Load balancing, fail-over…

I need to setup (2) point-to-point connection between NY and London office. I have two different providers each providing me with one point-to-point T1. I want to load balance the two lines so I may utilize both lines and be able to provide fail-over just in case one line fails. I am not sure if it make a difference, but the two line don’t provide me with the same time…. one line is few mil-seconds slower then the other. I am not sure how can I do this. I don’t have to use OSPF, but I want to only allow some vlan’s to go over these line, and not all of them.

just in case here is a brif network diagram

(NY)6509 ---- 2600 ----- T1 ------- 2600----- 6509 (Lon)

(2nd T1) \-------2600 ----- T1 ------- 2600-----/

Any help would go a long way…

Thanks in advance.

Try enabling CEF and ip load-sharing per-packet on the 2 t1 interfaces of the router. You can use two static routes pointing to each interface, instead of using dynamic routing protocols.
