Routing Problem

I'm have a routing problem with a cisco 2500. We're connecting a T-1. We've assigned a private address to the serial0 that connects to the T-1. I can ping across to the other private address. I have a subnet of IP's that are routed to us. When we assign the ethernet an IP address we can't ping any IP's in it's A block. For example: If we assign the e0 66.6.198.81, we can't ping any 66.xxx.xxx.xxx, but we can ping everything else. Any ideas????
